Pulled over by NYPD, 1st time, no fine but fair warning!!
Ironically concluding the last day of a May full of rides, jumbles, expos, fairs and other bike related fun with respect to the do’s and don’ts, ‘national bike month’ appropriately kicked-off at ‘blessing of the bikes’ inside St. John the Divine in NYC when we, not only prayed for our safety but, remembered those who lost their life on two wheels (aka white bicycles). It reminds us of the vigilance necessary on NYC streets, whether or not clear, it also means following the law! That said, I will post all biking rules through June and might even tell you exactly what happened with the cop along the way!
